Newport Harbor

The beginning of a trip to Newport Harbor, California, on the day after the 2007 Mrs. Globe Pageant. Everyone ... volunteers, pageant delegates, and their families had worked hard. It was now time to take a break from the hot desert climate and hard work, and rest on a Newport Harbor dinner cruise on Sunday afternoon.

(below) On our return to Rancho Mirage (about 120 mile trip), we were greeted with a beautiful sunset and clouds setting over the high peak that shadows the Palm Springs area. It was a truly beautiful end to a beautiful day (and week).
